Linux Transition Complete

New Linux setup

It’s hardware upgrade time and for the first time in fifteen years it’s not an Apple Mac. So I guess this means I’ve now completed my two year transition over to Linux, as my daily driver for work.

In the end I opted for a Mini PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 4800H processor, 16GB RAM and a 512GB NVME SSD drive. For the OS, I’m running the KDE Plasma spin of Solus, which is what I’ve been using without issue for the majority of the past 12 months. As a special treat, I also bought the Logitech MX Master 3 Mouse and Mini Keys keyboard combo too.

After experimenting on old hardware for the past ten years, this now makes Linux a first class citizen in my office setup.
